Thomas has been a pastor for more than 20 years, he serves with his family at the north of Sweden in a church of Word of Life, which has more than 200 members. They also have a christian school with more than 100 children.

Pravdepodobne nejestvuje väčšie naplnenie ako to, keď poslúchneme Veľké poslanie, ktoré nám dal náš Pán Ježiš Kristus. Túto úžasnú radosť malo možnosť zakúsiť aj 31 študentov biblickej školy Slovo života v Bratislave, ktorí sa rozdelení do siedmich tímov rozišli po okolitých krajinách. Navštívili Rumunsko, Srbsko, Rakúsko, Českú republiku a Ukrajinu. Po siedmich mesiacoch každodenného počúvania Božieho Slova tak mali možnosť na vlastnej koži zažiť, čo to vlastne misia je. Nakoľko drvivá väčšina nich nemala žiadne podobné skúsenosti, bola to pre nich veľká výzva. Všetci však zažili úžasnú Božiu milosť, zmocnenie k službe a zaopatrenie. Tu sú aspoň v skratke príbehy jednotlivých tímov:

Urban Karlsson has been in the World of Life almost since the start. He is a servant, who is ready to help. Anywhere in church a help was needed, he was there ready to take care of it. On our bible school he taught the lesson of "Ministry of help".

Pastor a misionár Per Cedergårdh zo švédskeho Göteborgu nie je v našom zbore vôbec neznámy a  za posledné roky pravdepodobne patrí aj medzi najčastejšie pozývaných kazateľov.

Pastor Per is 59 years old, has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. He is a civil engineer and architect by education, but has been more than 30 years in the preaching ministry. He served as pastor of churches for 15 years and in recent years he travels more to other countries such as India, Ukraine, Armenia, Spain, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea. God is using him particularly in the area of healing and deliverance.

Mats-Jan Söderberg is a Swedish missionary who lived ten years Azerbaijan, in the capital city of Baku where he helped to build a church, which has more than 1000 members today. Church continued to grow even during strong persecution and survived through the system of home groups.

Mats has a lot of experience from the missionary field, he works in the Missionary department of the Word of Life church and is also one of the coordinators of the trip to Israel in 2010.

Centrum Slova života v Moskve vidí ako sa viac a viac ruských cirkví k nim obracia s prosbou o pomoc a s potrebou niekam patriť. Potom ako Slovo života získalo nové priestory sa tento trend iba zintenzívnil.

Na jeseň roku 2009 sa konala národná konferencia pre lídrov, ktorá bola spojená s inauguráciou novej budovy cirkvi v centre Moskvy.
